Three ways to stand at the perimeter

Understanding, entry and return. Each division has a role, a doctrine, an emblem and a recruitment leaflet written in the same voice as the orders.

SITF insignia

SITF

Special Incident Task Force

Into the unknown. For those behind us.

Specialist soldiers for the zone's most demanding assignments: investigate, recover evidence, face the unexpected.

Doctrine

  • Answers before assumptions: record, sample, report.
  • The mission is the exception — the stand-down remains for everyone else.
  • Judge under pressure; the unit decides with incomplete information.

Insignia: A dagger through a broken perimeter ring between Šumava pines. Brick red, charcoal, ivory, olive.

PDU insignia

PDU

Paranormal Dispatch Unit

Stand between the unknown and home.

Trained personnel and scientific knowledge combined to confront the zone's paranormal threats.

Doctrine

  • Recognise the danger before naming it.
  • A visible emission is an observation, not a measurement of its reach.
  • Describe what happened; do not manufacture a mechanism.

Insignia: A guardian shield around an amber energy condensation with broken detector arcs. Forest green, amber, charcoal.

SERE insignia

SERE

Specialized Extraction and Rescue Element

Be their way home.

Specialised medevac and recovery of isolated personnel at the edge of the possible.

Doctrine

  • Report casualty location, access conditions and contamination with every request.
  • Recovery is not guaranteed; preparation is.
  • They enter the zone. We work for their return.

Insignia: A rescue grip, guiding star and rope among pines. Slate blue, rescue orange, charcoal.

Insignia

Patches, and how the mission assigns them

The emblems are mission-defined CfgUnitInsignia textures (SIM_PDU, SIM_SITF, SIM_SERE). They are not registered by the addon, so they do not appear in Eden's Identity dropdown; assign them in a unit's init field.

[this, "SIM_SITF"] call BIS_fnc_setUnitInsignia;
[this, "SIM_PDU"] call BIS_fnc_setUnitInsignia;
[this, "SIM_SERE"] call BIS_fnc_setUnitInsignia;

One line per unit. The uniform must support the insignia selection.
